The Game Audio Scripting Essentials is a small collection of tools I created for the Unity Asset Store, purely to expand the capabilities of the default Unity audio system to make it more suitable for dynamic and adaptive sounds and music. Worked on in my spare time, I thought of features that I would want to have, namely a container for randomly selecting an audio file and adaptive music systems, including layering, states for the layers, sections of layers, transitions that are crossfaded, quantized, and much more. Having programming as a secondary skill of mine, I knew that a tool like this could greatly help audio focused developers get more sound variety in their games with little in the way of usability issues.

So, with this tool being as helpful as it is, I decided to release it for free on the Unity Asset Store, along with a few sample assets free to use in commercial projects. Future game music packs I release will be made in a way that they will sound great using this system.
